EverVita Wellness Website

A calm, deliberately small site for a wellness practice, built to work before its booking system, portal, phone line or final copy existed.

EverVita Wellness is a hormone health, medical weight loss and wellness practice in Overland Park. The brief was unusual in a useful way: the client wanted a small site that does not overwhelm people. Restraint was the requirement, so the site is four pages of calm, readable copy rather than an exhaustive account of every service.

It was also built while several things were still unsettled, and the site works today in every one of those states. Online booking may go through a scheduling page, or through the practice's charting system, or not be online at all; one short address, /book, resolves to whichever is live and falls back to the phone number and a pre-filled request form. The practice currently operates inside another business and shares its phone line, so the "located inside" wording, the "ask for EverVita" note beside the number and the independence line in the footer are all driven by configuration and disappear the moment the practice has its own space and line.

That short booking address is the one to print on cards and put in social profiles, because it keeps working through every one of those changes without a reprint. The same approach covers the patient portal, which shows an "almost ready" page until a URL is set.

The look comes from the client's own artwork. Fine botanical sprigs are drawn in the corners, generated in C# as curves with leaves placed along them and timed so each leaf unfurls as the growing stem reaches it. They grow once per visit and then sway gently, and hold still for anyone who prefers reduced motion. Every image on the site is generated from the client's original files by a single script, so the logo, favicons and social card can be regenerated rather than hand-edited.

The enquiry form is not a clinical intake and says so: it is capped short, asks people not to include health details, and never writes message bodies to logs. If mail is not configured it tells the visitor plainly and gives them the phone number instead of reporting a success that reached nobody.
